A rubber lift pad is a specialized accessory used on automotive lifts (like those in a mechanic's shop) and floor jacks to act as a protective buffer between the heavy metal of the lift and the chassis of a vehicle.Think of it as the "cushion" that prevents metal-on-metal violence when you're raising a car.
Using a bare metal jack on a car frame is a recipe for scratches or structural slips.
Rubber pads solve a few key problems:
Damage Prevention: They prevent the lift arms from scratching the paint or scraping off the undercoating, which helps stop rust before it starts.
Grip and Friction: Rubber provides a high-friction surface, making it much less likely for the vehicle to shift or slide while it's being raised.
Weight Distribution: They compress slightly to conform to the shape of the vehicle's lifting point (like a pinch weld or frame rail), spreading the pressure more evenly.
Common Types
Depending on the vehicle and the lift being used, these pads come in various shapes:
Type: Round/Square Flat Pads, Slotted (Pinch Weld) Pads, Adapter Blocks
Rubber isn't invincible. Because they deal with thousands of pounds of pressure, they eventually wear out. You should swap them out if you notice:
1. Deep Cracking: Dry rot or heavy compression cracks.
2. Tearing: If the "lip" of a slotted pad is shearing off.
3. Oil Saturation: If they’ve soaked up too much engine oil or hydraulic fluid, they can become slippery and dangerous.

Application
Automotive lifts, floor jacks to act as a protective buffer
Standardized Pallets: Goods are stacked on heat-treated (ISPM 15) or plastic pallets, optimized for forklift handling. Rigid Corner Protectors: High-impact cardboard corner guards are applied to the full height of the stack. This prevents the straps from cutting into the rubber and maintains the vertical integrity of the pallet.
Price terms
The price is based on FOB, CFR or CIF terms according to Incoterms 2000.
Delivery time
There is no guarantee for the delivery time. The guarantee is only for lead time.
Valid time
The valid time of molding or extrusion profile is 60 days unless there is big changes of raw compound and exchange rate.
Do you have a standard part?
We do not have a standard parts. All of our products are custom made to customer specifications, we may apply for the authorization from customer for the parts same to what you are looking for.
Will I need to invest tooling to produce my product?
If we do not have an existing tooling to meet your requirements, you will have to buy one.
Will you use the tooling for other customers?
No, you will have the 100% rights of the tooling. Please refer to our privacy policy and non disclosure agreement.
How can do I select the raw compound for my application?

Do you use any international standards for the rubber products?
Yes, we use ASTM standards and RAM standards to define the quality of the rubber seal and rubber gaskets.
