Round flat rubber washer gasket

Item No. RG-012

Rubber washers are flat, ring-shaped rubber components placed between a fastener and a surface — under a bolt head, between a nut and a panel, or beneath a screw in a housing. They seal the joint against water, air, and dust, cushion contact pressure, dampen vibration, and protect the mating surface from scratches and galvanic corrosion.

Qingdao Todo Rubber specializes in manufacturing rubber molded parts. Customization is our core strength — we produce rubber molded parts based on customer's drawings or samples. Our rubber molded parts include rubber gaskets, rubber grommets, rubber washers, rubber seals, silicone molded products, rubber boat rollers, rubber dock bumpers, and more.

Key Features

Flat ring design – simple geometry for sealing and cushioning under fasteners

Material options – EPDM, silicone, FKM, NBR, CR, and NR

Reliable sealing – blocks water, air, dust, and light chemicals at the joint

Cushioning effect – distributes fastener load and protects soft or finished surfaces

Vibration damping – reduces rattling and loosening caused by mechanical vibration

Electrical insulation – isolates fasteners from conductive panels

Galvanic corrosion barrier – separates dissimilar metals at the joint

Weather & chemical resistance – grade-dependent resistance to UV, ozone, oils, and moisture

Multiple thicknesses and diameters – standard sizes and custom dimensions

Made to drawing or sample – custom shapes, hardness, and compounds

Advantages

Stops Leaks at the Fastener – Compresses under the bolt head or nut to form a tight barrier against water, air, and dust, preventing seepage at the joint.

Protects Surfaces From Damage – Distributes clamping force and prevents bolt heads, nuts, and screw threads from scratching, cracking, or denting finished panels and soft materials.

Reduces Vibration and Loosening – Absorbs mechanical vibration at the joint, lowering the risk of fasteners working loose over time and reducing rattling noise.

Separates Dissimilar Metals – Acts as a barrier between steel, aluminum, and other metals, preventing galvanic corrosion at bolted connections.

Applications

Plumbing & water systems – faucet washers, hose couplings, pipe fittings

Automotive – drain plug washers, body panel fasteners, hose connections

Industrial machinery – bolt sealing, vibration isolation, panel mounting

Electrical & electronics – insulating washers for terminal and PCB mounting

HVAC systems – duct fasteners, valve connections, equipment mounts

Standard package for rubber molded parts
Standard package for rubber molded parts

Standard: Goods are typically supplied in about 20-25kg/carton.

Complete Pallet Preparation for rubber molded parts
Complete Pallet Preparation for rubber molded parts

Standardized Pallets: Goods are stacked on heat-treated (ISPM 15) or plastic pallets, optimized for forklift handling. Rigid Corner Protectors: High-impact cardboard corner guards are applied to the full height of the stack. This prevents the straps from cutting into the rubber and maintains the vertical integrity of the pallet.

What materials are available for rubber washers?

EPDM, silicone, FKM (Viton®), NBR, CR (neoprene), and NR (natural rubber), plus custom compounds for specific media and temperatures.

What is the difference between a rubber washer and a rubber gasket?

A washer is typically a small ring that sits under a fastener and seals or cushions at a single point. A gasket is usually larger and seals across a broader mating surface, such as a flange or cover.

What sizes and thicknesses can you produce?

We offer standard metric and imperial sizes and manufacture custom diameters and thicknesses from 0.5 mm to 20 mm.

What temperature range can rubber washers handle?

Depending on material: NBR (-30°C to +110°C), EPDM (-50°C to +150°C), Silicone (-60°C to +200°C), FKM (-20°C to +200°C).

Are they resistant to oils and chemicals?

NBR offers excellent oil and fuel resistance. EPDM is ideal for water, weather, and outdoor exposure. Contact us for specific chemical compatibility.

Can rubber washers be used outdoors?

Yes. EPDM, silicone, and CR grades offer excellent UV, ozone, and weather resistance for outdoor applications.

Do they provide electrical insulation?

Yes. Rubber washers isolate fasteners from conductive panels and terminals, reducing short-circuit risk.

Can you produce custom colors?

Yes. Custom colors are available for identification or equipment matching.
