Item No. ET-015
EPDM door and window extrusion profiles are flexible sealing strips produced by continuous extrusion, designed to close the gap between frame and sash, panel and wall, or glass and profile. They keep out rain, wind, dust, and noise while allowing the door or window to open and close smoothly.
The material behind this performance is EPDM — ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber. It resists UV, ozone, and weathering far better than natural rubber or NBR, which is why it is the standard choice for exterior fenestration. Our profiles are produced factory-direct in China, with standard sections available from stock and custom profiles, hardness levels, and colors built to order.
EPDM rubber compound – outstanding UV, ozone, and weather resistance
Continuous extrusion – consistent cross-section over long production runs
Excellent compression recovery – returns to shape after repeated door cycles
Wide temperature tolerance – performs from -50°C to +150°C
Watertight sealing – blocks rain, wind, and draughts
Noise reduction – dampens traffic, wind, and structural sound
Multiple profile designs – bulb, lip, fin, sponge, and custom sections
Co-extrusion available – rigid carrier with soft sealing lip
Color options – black standard; custom colors on request
Custom manufacturing – profile, hardness, and length to your drawing
Built for Outdoor Exposure – EPDM resists UV, ozone, and weather far better than NBR or natural rubber, so seals stay flexible and effective through years of sun and rain.
Seals Through Every Season – From -50°C to +150°C, the profile keeps its elasticity, maintaining contact pressure in both winter cold and summer heat.
Bounces Back After Every Cycle – Low compression set means the seal returns to shape after thousands of open-and-close cycles, keeping draughts and water out.
Blocks Water, Wind, and Noise – A continuous extruded profile with no joints or gaps delivers reliable weathertightness and measurable acoustic improvement.
Residential windows – casement, sliding, tilt-and-turn, and awning frames
Residential doors – entry doors, patio doors, balcony doors
Commercial fenestration – curtain walls, storefronts, office partitions
uPVC and aluminum window systems – sash and frame sealing
Glass doors and glazing – perimeter sealing and cushioning
Garage and industrial doors – panel edge and threshold sealing
Cold-room and refrigeration doors – thermal and moisture sealing

Standardized Pallets: Goods are stacked on heat-treated (ISPM 15) or plastic pallets, optimized for forklift handling. Rigid Corner Protectors: High-impact cardboard corner guards are applied to the full height of the stack. This prevents the straps from cutting into the rubber and maintains the vertical integrity of the pallet.
Standard Rolls: Goods are typically supplied in 50m or 100m continuous rolls, precision-coiled to maintain the profile’s structural shape.
Why is EPDM preferred over other rubbers for door and window seals?
EPDM offers the best balance of UV, ozone, and weather resistance among common sealing rubbers, and it maintains elasticity across a wide temperature range — both essential for exterior fenestration.
What profile shapes can you produce?
Bulb, lip, fin, sponge, co-extruded rigid-carrier designs, and fully custom sections built to your drawing or sample.
What temperature range does EPDM handle?
Standard EPDM profiles perform from -50°C to +150°C, suitable for most climate zones worldwide.
Can the seal be co-extruded with a rigid carrier?
Yes. Co-extrusion combines a rigid support element with a soft EPDM sealing lip, simplifying installation and improving dimensional stability.
What colors are available?
Black is standard. Custom colors can be produced to match frame finishes or design requirements.
How long do EPDM window seals last?
With proper installation, EPDM profiles typically provide 10 to 20 years of service in exterior applications, depending on climate and exposure.
Do you supply standard profiles from stock?
Yes. Common sections are held in stock for short lead times. Custom profiles require tooling and longer production schedules.
What is the typical lead time?
Stock sections ship within 5–10 working days. Custom profiles typically require 15–25 working days depending on tooling complexity and quantity.
Can you produce to our drawing or sample?
Yes. Send us your technical drawing, sample, or specification, and we will develop the profile to match.
Do you offer OEM production for window and door manufacturers?
Yes. We support OEM and ODM production, including custom profiles, colors, hardness levels, and packaging.
