Rubber Sealing Gaskets – Custom Molded Seals for Flanges, Covers & Equipment

Rubber sealing gasket

Item No. RG-013

Every bolted joint has a gap. Two machined surfaces never mate perfectly — microscopic peaks and valleys remain, and under pressure or temperature change those gaps open further. A rubber sealing gasket fills that space. It compresses under bolt load, flows into surface irregularities, and forms a continuous barrier that liquid, gas, and dust cannot cross.

The job sounds simple. Doing it reliably for years, across temperature swings, chemical exposure, and repeated maintenance cycles, is where material selection and molding precision matter. That is the part we focus on. Qingdao Todo Rubber specializes in manufacturing rubber molded parts, with customization as our core strength — producing to customer drawings or physical samples.

 Key Features

Full-face and ring designs – bolt holes punched to standard flange patterns

Material options – EPDM, silicone, FKM, NBR, CR, and NR

Custom-shaped profiles – matched to housings, covers, and non-circular openings

Thickness range – 0.5 mm sheet gaskets to 25 mm molded sections

Low compression set – maintains sealing force after repeated tightening

Bolt-hole precision – ANSI, DIN, BS, JIS, or produced to your drawing

Temperature stability – performs across a wide range depending on compound

Chemical resistance – grade-dependent resistance to oils, water, acids, and solvents

Weather & aging resistance – resists UV, ozone, and oxidation over time

Advantages

The Seal Holds After Re-Torquing – Low compression set keeps the gasket pressing against the joint through maintenance cycles, temperature changes, and vibration, cutting rework and callbacks.

Bolt Holes Line Up First Time – Holes are punched or drilled to your flange pattern, so fitters don't cut, trim, or re-drill on site.

Material Matched to Your Medium – EPDM for water and steam, NBR for oils, silicone for extreme temperatures, FKM for aggressive chemicals — we select the compound to fit the service.

Molded to Your Geometry – Non-circular openings, stepped faces, and custom housings are all produced to drawing, not forced to fit a standard shape.

 Applications

Flanged pipe connections – water, steam, oil, and chemical lines

Pump and valve covers – access panels, bonnets, and housings

Heat exchanger plates – thermal equipment sealing

Gearbox and inspection covers – industrial machinery closures

Engine and transmission housings – automotive sealing points

HVAC duct flanges – air handling panels and valve connections

Standard package for rubber molded parts
Standard package for rubber molded parts

Standard: Goods are typically supplied in about 20-25kg/carton.

Complete Pallet Preparation for rubber molded parts
Complete Pallet Preparation for rubber molded parts

Standardized Pallets: Goods are stacked on heat-treated (ISPM 15) or plastic pallets, optimized for forklift handling. Rigid Corner Protectors: High-impact cardboard corner guards are applied to the full height of the stack. This prevents the straps from cutting into the rubber and maintains the vertical integrity of the pallet.

Can you match the bolt-hole pattern of our existing flange?

Yes. Send the flange standard, a drawing, or a sample, and we will match the hole positions, diameter, and spacing.

How do I know which thickness to specify?

Thickness depends on flange surface condition, bolt load, and pressure. Thicker gaskets conform better to rough surfaces; thinner gaskets suit machined, flat faces. We can recommend based on your joint details.

What if the gasket needs to be replaced frequently?

Frequent replacement usually points to material mismatch, over-compression, or surface damage. Send the failed part and operating conditions, and we can often identify the cause.

Can you produce low volumes for testing?

Yes. Sample and prototype quantities are available before production runs.

Are food-grade and potable-water grades available?

Yes. FDA-compliant silicone and EPDM compounds are available, along with grades suitable for potable water contact.

How do you handle non-standard shapes?

Send your drawing or sample. We produce non-circular, stepped, and custom profiles to match your geometry.
