Item No. SRE-008
Neoprene foam tape (also known as CR foam tape) is a versatile closed-cell rubber foam sealing material widely used for gap filling, weather stripping, vibration damping, sound insulation and waterproof protection. Our self adhesive neoprene foam tape is manufactured from high-quality neoprene foam with stable density ranging from 130–170 kg/m³.
The closed-cell structure of neoprene foam tape effectively blocks water, dust, wind and moisture penetration. Different from ordinary open-cell sponge tape, closed cell neoprene foam tape delivers outstanding weather resistance, ozone resistance and anti-aging performance, supporting long-term indoor and outdoor applications. Equipped with industrial-grade pressure-sensitive adhesive, this adhesive neoprene foam strip bonds firmly on metal, plastic, wood, glass, PVC and painted surfaces.
Flexible and highly compressible, our neoprene foam sealing tape fits uneven surfaces perfectly to eliminate air leakage and reduce collision noise. It maintains stable sealing performance within -40°C ~ 80°C working temperature. We supply black neoprene foam tape in various thicknesses, widths and roll lengths. Die-cut shapes, low density and high density neoprene foam tape can be customized according to project requirements.
This waterproof neoprene foam tape serves multiple industries. Typical uses include door & window weather sealing, automotive gap filling, HVAC insulation, machinery vibration isolation, electrical cabinet buffering and equipment noise reduction.
Key Features of Neoprene Foam Tape

Application
window weather sealing, automotive gap filling, HVAC insulation, machinery vibration isolation, electrical cabinet buffering, equipment noise reduction.
Standardized Pallets: Goods are stacked on heat-treated (ISPM 15) or plastic pallets, optimized for forklift handling. Rigid Corner Protectors: High-impact cardboard corner guards are applied to the full height of the stack. This prevents the straps from cutting into the rubber and maintains the vertical integrity of the pallet.
Standard Rolls: Goods are typically supplied in 50m or 100m continuous rolls, precision-coiled to maintain the profile’s structural shape.
What is Neoprene foam tape used for?
Neoprene foam tape is widely used for gap sealing, weatherstripping, vibration damping, noise reduction, waterproofing and cushion protection. Common applications include doors & windows, automotive parts, HVAC systems, machinery equipment, electrical appliances, cabinets and outdoor facilities.
Is neoprene foam tape waterproof?
Yes. Our closed-cell neoprene foam structure prevents water absorption. It provides good waterproof and moisture-proof performance for indoor and outdoor sealing scenarios.
What density options do you offer?
Standard density is 130–170 kg/m³. Low density (softer cushioning) and high density (firmer compression resistance) are available upon customization.
What surfaces can the self-adhesive neoprene foam tape stick to?
It bonds well with metal, plastic, wood, glass, PVC, painted surfaces and composite materials. For best adhesion, please clean and dry the surface before application.
What is the working temperature range?
Typical working temperature: -40°C to +80°C. Short-term peak temperature up to 100°C. Not suitable for continuous high-temperature environments above 100°C.
Can neoprene foam tape resist UV and aging?
Closed-cell neoprene features good ozone resistance and anti-aging properties. It withstands outdoor UV exposure better than ordinary EVA foam tape for long-term use.
Can I customize size, thickness and shapes?
Yes. We support custom thickness, width, roll length and die-cut special shapes according to customer drawings or requirements.
Will the adhesive leave residue after removal?
Our standard adhesive leaves minimal residue if removed within a reasonable time. Long-term bonding for years may cause slight residue on porous surfaces.
Is neoprene foam tape oil resistant?
It offers moderate resistance to general oils. Not recommended for continuous immersion in strong solvents or heavy oil environments.
What is the difference between Neoprene foam tape and EVA foam tape?
Neoprene foam has superior weather resistance, ozone resistance and waterproof performance, ideal for outdoor and industrial sealing. EVA foam is softer and more economical, mostly used for indoor cushioning.
