What hardness can you supply for the neoprene o‑ring cord?
Common Shore-A hardness ranges from 60 ShA ‑ 85 ShA. 70 ShA‑75 ShA is the most popular general‑purpose grade. Hardness can be customized upon your sealing, compression‑resistant or shock‑absorbing demands.
What working temperature range for CR o‑ring cord?
Standard neoprene/CR o‑ring cord works from ‑30 °C to +120 °C. It keeps stable performance under outdoor sunlight, humid and changing climate environments.
What diameter sizes are available?
We provide multiple standard CR O-Ring cord diameters from 2.0 mm up to 30 mm. Non‑standard custom diameters are supported. The surface is smooth with consistent roundness and uniform diameter.
Can I cut the O-Ring cord and make my own custom O‑rings?
Sure. The flexible CR o-ring cord can be cut to required length. Two cut ends can be glued or hot‑spliced into closed‑loop bespoke O‑rings for non‑standard sealing sizes which you cannot buy as finished moulded o‑rings.
Is CR o‑ring cord oil resistant?
It resists mild‑grade petroleum oil, lubricants and grease. It is not recommended for long‑time contact with strong solvent, fuel and concentrated mineral oil. For heavy‑oil environments we suggest NBR rubber cord.
Where may I apply the neoprene/CR O-Ring cord?
It is widely used for pipe joint seals, machinery housing gaskets, automobile accessory seals, boat hatch waterproof seals, aluminium door‑and‑window weather‑strip, electrical cabinet dust‑proof seals and vibration‑damping cushion work.
