Item No. PP-012
A spray boom takes a beating every working day: rocks, stumps, fence posts, chemical splash, and constant vibration. Our PU spray bar shields are built to take that beating instead of your equipment — forming a tough, elastic barrier that absorbs impact, shrugs off abrasion, and stands up to agricultural chemicals.
Cast from premium polyurethane, these shields deliver what rubber cannot: higher stiffness, dramatically better wear resistance, and reliable performance under continuous UV and chemical exposure. The result is fewer bent booms, fewer clogged nozzles, fewer replacements — and more productive hours in the field.
Cast polyurethane construction — tough, elastic, resists compression set
Higher stiffness than rubber — holds shape and position under impact
2–5× longer wear life in abrasive field conditions
Tear and impact resistant — handles edge strikes and repeated hits
Chemical tolerant — fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, cleaning agents
UV and weather stable — no cracking, fading, or embrittlement
Oil and fuel resistant — reliable in contaminated environments
Multiple mounting methods — bolt-on, clip-on, or adhesive
Hardness tunable from 60 Shore A to 60 Shore D
Custom profiles — flat, curved, channel, L-shape, made to drawing
The Shield Takes the Hit – Absorbs impact from rocks, stumps, and debris before it reaches booms, nozzles, and fittings.
Wear Life Rubber Can't Match – In abrasive field conditions, PU lasts 2 to 5 times longer, cutting replacements and mid-season downtime.
Chemically Stable – Fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and cleaning agents don't cause swelling, cracking, or degradation.
Built for Continuous Outdoor Use – Sunlight, rain, and temperature swings don't affect performance — no cracking, no fading, no embrittlement.
Keeps Its Shape Under Impact – Higher stiffness than rubber means the shield stays in position and keeps protecting.
Agricultural sprayers – boom protection, nozzle guards, spray bar covers
Industrial spray systems – coating lines, cleaning equipment, chemical spray bars
Automotive – underbody spray bars, paint booth systems, washing equipment
Road maintenance – de-icing spray bars, dust suppression systems
Municipal equipment – street cleaning spray bars, watering systems

What do polyurethane spray bar shields protect?
Spray booms, bars, nozzles, and fittings — against impact damage, abrasion, chemical splash, and UV degradation.
How do they compare to rubber shields?
PU is stiffer, far more wear-resistant, and better at resisting chemicals and UV. Rubber is softer but degrades faster in abrasive and chemical environments.
What hardness can you produce?
From 60 Shore A (flexible, high-impact) to 60 Shore D (rigid, high-wear), matched to your application.
What profiles are available?
Flat, curved, channel, L-profile, and fully custom profiles cast to fit your spray bar or boom.
Will they hold up to agricultural chemicals?
Yes. PU resists fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and cleaning agents without swelling or degrading.
Can they handle year-round outdoor exposure?
Yes. PU offers excellent UV and weather resistance for continuous outdoor use.
How are they installed?
Bolt-on, clip-on, or adhesive mounting options, depending on your spray bar design.
Can you make custom sizes and shapes?
Absolutely. We cast to your drawings or samples — any size, shape, hardness, and color. OEM orders welcome.
How long do they last?
Typically 2 to 5 times longer than equivalent rubber shields in abrasive field conditions.
What colors are available?
Natural amber and black as standard. Custom colors on request.
What quality standards do you meet?
ISO 9001 quality management systems. Material certifications and test reports available on request.
