Item No. CER-014
Our premium co-extruded profiles are versatile multi-functional edge trim seals designed for durable edge protection, sealing, and finishing across automotive, marine, industrial, and outdoor applications. Available in multiple high-grade rubber materials including EPDM rubber, nitrile rubber (NBR), neoprene rubber, and silicone, our pinch weld trims deliver outstanding environmental resistance and long-term service life for both indoor and outdoor use. Widely utilized to cover and seal exposed edges of metal, glass, plastic, fibreglass, and plywood, our rubber pinch welds provide a clean, finished look while preventing water ingress, dust accumulation, and edge wear. They serve as a cost-effective replacement for worn or damaged door trim, panel seals, and edge mouldings on vehicles and equipment.

Standardized Pallets: Goods are stacked on heat-treated (ISPM 15) or plastic pallets, optimized for forklift handling. Rigid Corner Protectors: High-impact cardboard corner guards are applied to the full height of the stack. This prevents the straps from cutting into the rubber and maintains the vertical integrity of the pallet.
Standard Rolls: Goods are typically supplied in 50m or 100m continuous rolls, precision-coiled to maintain the profile’s structural shape.
What materials are available for co-extruded pinch weld trims?
We offer EPDM, NBR, Neoprene, and Silicone. Each material provides specific performance advantages for different environmental and application requirements.
What is the difference between co-extruded and standard extruded profiles?
Co-extrusion combines two different rubber compounds in a single profile – typically a rigid base for secure gripping and a soft sealing lip for effective sealing. This offers superior performance compared to single-material extrusions.
How is the pinch weld trim installed?
Installation is simple – just push the profile firmly over the panel edge by hand or with a rubber mallet. No adhesives, screws, or special tools are required.
Are these trims suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. EPDM, Neoprene, and Silicone grades offer excellent UV, ozone, and weather resistance for continuous outdoor exposure.
What surfaces can the trim be applied to?
It fits securely over metal, glass, plastic, fibreglass, plywood, and composite panel edges of varying thicknesses.
What is the temperature range for these profiles?
Depending on material selection: EPDM (-40°C to +120°C), NBR (-30°C to +110°C), Neoprene (-35°C to +100°C), Silicone (-60°C to +230°C).
Are these profiles resistant to oils and chemicals?
NBR offers excellent oil and fuel resistance. EPDM is ideal for water, weather, and brake fluid exposure. Please consult our team for specific chemical compatibility.
Can the trim be installed on curved or irregular edges?
Yes. The flexible rubber construction allows the profile to follow gentle curves and contours, though sharp radius bends may require special considerations.
Do you offer custom shapes and sizes?
Absolutely. We manufacture pinch weld trims to your technical drawings or samples – any cross-section, grip width, material, hardness, and color.
What lengths are available?
We supply in continuous coils or cut-to-length pieces based on your requirements. Custom lengths are available upon request.
Can I order custom colors?
Yes. Custom colors are available to match your design or branding requirements.
