These are rubber wire seals (connector sealing plugs) for automotive wiring harness connectors. Made of high‑quality silicone or EPDM rubber, featured with multi‑step ribbed sealing ribs. The layered‑rib design ensures tight compression sealing inside connector cavities. They serve two main purposes: ‑ For wire‑pass‑through type: Seal the gap between cable and connector hole, prevent water, moisture and dust intrusion. ‑ For blind dummy plugs: Block unused empty cavities on connectors to maintain IP‑rating waterproof performance.
Widely used in automotive, new‑energy vehicle electrical wiring harness systems. Resistant to high/low temperature, aging and automotive fluids. Custom sizes, colors and material options are available per customer samples or drawings.
These automotive wire seals are commonly manufactured from high‑grade silicone rubber or EPDM. Silicone version delivers excellent high‑low temperature tolerance; EPDM offers great resistance against ozone, weathering and automotive‑grade fluids. Hardness can be customized from 40‑70 Shore A. Different color options such as blue, black and grey are available for customer identification requirements.

These multi‑ribbed rubber wire seals are critical sealing components for automotive and new‑energy‑vehicle wiring‑harness connector systems.
Installed inside the cavities of male and female electrical connectors, they are divided into two functional versions.
Hollow wire‑through seals: Cables pass through the central bore. The stacked annular sealing ribs compress tightly against both the outer cable jacket and the inner wall of the connector housing. They seal off gaps to block water, moisture, salt spray and dust from penetrating into terminal contact zones, preventing short‑circuits, signal failure and metal‑pin corrosion.
Solid blind dummy plugs: Designed to fill unoccupied empty connector cavities. They maintain the complete IP waterproof and dust‑proof rating of the whole connector assembly even when certain positions have no fitted wires.
They are widely deployed across multiple vehicle‑wiring‑harness zones: engine‑compartment harnesses, chassis harnesses, door‑body harnesses, lighting assemblies and on‑board electronic modules. They endure harsh operating conditions including temperature swings, road‑salt splash and vibration.
Beyond automotive applications, these rubber sealing plugs are also suitable for industrial electrical connectors and off‑road equipment wiring systems that demand reliable ingress protection. Standard: Goods are typically supplied in about 20-25kg/carton.
Standardized Pallets: Goods are stacked on heat-treated (ISPM 15) or plastic pallets, optimized for forklift handling. Rigid Corner Protectors: High-impact cardboard corner guards are applied to the full height of the stack. This prevents the straps from cutting into the rubber and maintains the vertical integrity of the pallet.

The valid time of molding or extrusion profile is 60 days unless there is big changes of raw compound and exchange rate.

We do not have a standard parts. All of our products are custom made to customer specifications, we may apply for the authorization from customer for the parts same to what you are looking for.
Will I need to invest tooling to produce my product?
If we do not have an existing tooling to meet your requirements, you will have to buy one.
Will you use the tooling for other customers?
No, you will have the 100% rights of the tooling. Please refer to our privacy policy and non disclosure agreement.
