Rubber gaskets designed for PVC pipes are generally pre-installed during pipe production via the factory’s belling process. Never detach captive sealing rings from pipe sockets during on-site installation. Should a loose gasket need to be fitted on site, carry out this step right prior to pipe jointing by seating the thoroughly cleaned gasket neatly into the groove of the socket.

This prevents the straps from cutting into the rubber and maintains the vertical integrity of the pallet.
