Item No. SP-06
This black PVC edge trim is a durable and versatile solution for protecting, finishing, and enhancing exposed edges on panels, doors, glass, and other sheet materials. Also known as Titanfast edge trim, it is designed to fit panel edges from 1.5 mm to 3 mm thick, providing a clean and professional finish while helping protect edges from impact, abrasion, and everyday wear.
The edge trim features a self-gripping metal spine embedded within the PVC profile. This construction allows the trim to securely grip the panel edge without the need for additional adhesive, making installation fast and convenient. It can be pressed or tapped into position by hand or with a soft-faced hammer and can also be removed and reused when required.
Manufactured from high-quality PVC, this edge trim offers good resistance to UV exposure, ozone, air, oils, fuels, and a range of common chemicals. With a hardness of approximately 67° Shore A and an operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C, it is suitable for a wide variety of indoor and outdoor applications.
The trim is supplied in 50-metre coils, making it a practical choice for both small fabrication projects and larger-volume industrial applications.

Standardized Pallets: Goods are stacked on heat-treated (ISPM 15) or plastic pallets, optimized for forklift handling. Rigid Corner Protectors: High-impact cardboard corner guards are applied to the full height of the stack. This prevents the straps from cutting into the rubber and maintains the vertical integrity of the pallet.
Standard Rolls: Goods are typically supplied in 50m or 100m continuous rolls, precision-coiled to maintain the profile’s structural shape.
What is PVC edge trim used for?
PVC edge trim is used to protect and finish exposed edges on panels, sheets, doors, glass, and other materials. It helps reduce edge damage caused by impact, abrasion, and everyday handling while providing a clean, finished appearance.
What panel thickness does this PVC edge trim fit?
This self-gripping PVC edge trim is designed for panel edges from 1.5 mm to 3 mm thick.
Does the PVC edge trim require adhesive?
No. The trim features an integrated metal gripping spine that securely grips the panel edge without additional adhesive in standard applications. This makes installation quick and convenient.
How is the self-gripping edge trim installed?
Simply position the trim over the panel edge and press it into place. If needed, a soft-faced hammer can be used to gently tap the trim onto the edge. Avoid using excessive force that could damage the profile or substrate.
Can the edge trim be removed and reused?
Yes. The trim can generally be removed and reused when it remains in good condition. Because it does not rely on adhesive for installation, it can be a practical option for applications where panels may need to be removed or replaced.
What materials can this PVC edge trim be used on?
The edge trim can be fitted to a variety of materials, including sheet metal, fibreglass, glass, wood, and polycarbonate, provided the panel thickness is within the recommended 1.5–3 mm range.
What are the dimensions of this PVC edge trim?
The profile is approximately 13.6 mm high and 9.3 mm wide, and is designed for panel edges measuring 1.5–3 mm thick.
Is this PVC edge trim suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. The PVC material offers good resistance to UV exposure, ozone, weathering, air, oil, fuel, and various common chemicals, making it suitable for many indoor and outdoor applications.
