How do you store your customers' molds?
We adhere to strict procedures for storing customer molds to ensure they remain in optimal condition for repeated rubber molding production :
1. After production, we thoroughly remove all rubber residue, flash, and mold release agents from the mold cavities, parting lines, and venting channels. Cooling channels are drained, blown dry, and sealed to prevent internal rusting.
2. We apply a rust-preventive coating to mold surfaces for long-term storage. All loose inserts and small components are grouped, packaged, and clearly labeled.
3. Molds are labeled with the mold number, part number, and customer name. They are stored horizontally on elevated steel racks in a dry warehouse; stacking is strictly prohibited to prevent damage.
4. The warehouse is maintained at low humidity; we conduct regular visual inspections and record the status of all molds in our system.
5. Customer molds are stored separately from our own molds; they are never used to produce products for other customers without authorization.
