Item No. RGS-011
EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber seals are premium-grade elastomeric components engineered for long-term outdoor, automotive, and industrial applications. Renowned for their extraordinary resistance to UV radiation, ozone, extreme temperatures, and harsh weather conditions, EPDM seals provide dependable leakage prevention and environmental isolation across a broad operational spectrum.
Outstanding Weather & Ozone Resistance: Maintains flexibility and structural integrity under prolonged exposure to sunlight, UV rays, ozone, and harsh weather without cracking, hardening, or degrading.
Broad Thermal Range: Operates reliably in temperature extremes from $-50^\circ\text{C}$ up to $+150^\circ\text{C}$, ensuring consistent performance across freezing winter and blistering summer conditions.
Superior Elasticity & Compression Set Resistance: Rapidly recovers shape after dynamic or static stress loading, guaranteeing long-lasting tight seals.
Chemical & Moisture Barrier: Highly resistant to diluted acids, alkalis, polar solvents, hot water, and steam. Excellent fluid isolation capabilities.
Sound & Thermal Insulation: Effectively damps vibrations, absorbs acoustic energy, and stops thermal loss to boost energy efficiency.

Standard: Goods are typically supplied in about 20-25kg/carton.
Standardized Pallets: Goods are stacked on heat-treated (ISPM 15) or plastic pallets, optimized for forklift handling. Rigid Corner Protectors: High-impact cardboard corner guards are applied to the full height of the stack. This prevents the straps from cutting into the rubber and maintains the vertical integrity of the pallet.
Can EPDM rubber seals be used for oil or fuel sealing?
No, EPDM is not recommended for oil or petroleum fuel applications. Contact with mineral oils, gasoline, diesel, or grease will cause EPDM to swell, soften, and lose its mechanical properties. For oil-resistant sealing, NBR (Nitrile) or FKM (Viton) rubber is recommended.
